Lunch & Learn: Flood Mitigation and Community Resilience Series

We’re delighted to be collaborating with the Conservation Council of NB on an informative noon-hour series focused on flood mitigation and community resilience. Please register for one or more of these educational sessions, all from the comfort of your own home.

We have an awesome line-up of presenters with a range of expertise to share on subjects including how to assess and prepare your home for flood events, how natural assets and green infrastructure can be used to mitigate flooding, and how the City of Fredericton is planning on managing future flooding in the face of our changing climate.

Grab some lunch, get comfy, and join us to learn all there is to know about flooding from the homeowner to the provincial scales. Register for this event via: https://www.conservationcouncil.ca/en/nashwaak-watershed-lunch-and-learn-series/

This series would not be possible without the invaluable contributions of our partners: Conservation Council of New Brunswick, WWF-Canada, Community Forests International, Intact Centre on Climate Change – Home Flood Protection Program, City of Fredericton Government, Department of Environment and Local Government.
