content_03

Dear Nashwaak Watershed Association Members and friends:

We are holding a fundraising raffle for three days fishing at Larry’s Gulch on the famous Restigouche River, August 18, 19 and 20th.   All proceeds go to support the work of the NWAI.

The prize package includes two nights accommodation, three days on the river with a guide, and all meals (except tips and gratuities).

There is a total of two days fishing over three days, i.e. fishing evening only on the 18th, morning and evening on the 19th, and morning only on the 20th.

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10, and are being sold by NWAI board members, at Fredericton Outfitters (285 Canada Street in Fredericton), or you can get in touch with us by phone at 450-4943 or by email at nashwaakwatershed@hotmail.com.

If you’d like to help out selling them, we’d love to hear from you!

The draw will be held at the end of business on July 28th at Fredericton Outfitters.

The name of the prize winner will be posted here on the Nashwaak Watershed Association web.

Sincerely yours,
Paul McLaughlin

This morning the Nashwaak Watershed Association started our Spring Break-up data gathering for GNB's River Watch Program. From the first week of March into early April we will monitor conditions on the Nashwaak River at 9+ sites, twice weekly. This morning, spring seemed far away with -17'C temps, high winds and downed trees. Just as I visited the upper most site on Giant's Glen Rd. the sun broke through. This is the river running just Northwest of Stanley. A great place to be no matter the weather : ) ... See MoreSee Less
